On Tuesday, April 26, Leonard Leader scored 545 points to take first place followed by second place finisher Roy Baeth who netted 47. Leonard was also awarded the traveling prize.

Pinochle

On Thursday, April 28, Kevin Stevens scored 6,300 to take first place and Lou Olson scored 5,570 for second. The traveling prize was awarded to Sherman Doucette and Nancy Soennichsen.

Malta Duplicate Bridge

Wednesday, April 20, saw Madelyn Anderson and Byron Ereaux come in first. Second place was earned by the team of Anna Faye Simms and Les Solberg.

Monday’s winners were Byron and teammate John Norgon. Second place was awarded to Bonnie Millar and Keith Stine.

On Friday, April 29, Mary and Carla swept Curt and Pearl in two straight, 14-9 and 14-7. IN the third game of the day, the teams changed and Pearl and Agnes defeated Mary and Carla 13-4.

“We now have one extra player,” Pearl reported. “And the crack came back.”
