Malta author releases Spanish edition of endearing, uplifting children's book

Author Colleen Barnard announces the nationwide release of “Sarah Era Una Arañita De Siete Patas,” which is the Spanish edition of her lesson-filled children’s book, “Sarah the Seven-Legged Spider.”

In “Sarah Era Una Arañita De Siete Patas,” Sarah, the spider, is different. She was born with only seven legs while most spiders have eight, and she looks really funny when she walks. Some other bugs make fun of her, but Sarah’s parents are always there to remind her not to be mean right back. If there’s one thing Sarah loves more than singing, it’s helping everyone, and she learns that you don’t have to be like anyone else to be special. Sometimes, what makes you sad is just the thing you can use to make others happy.

Published by Tate Publishing and Enterprises, the book is available through bookstores nationwide, from the publisher at http://www.tatepublishing.com/bookstore, or by visiting barnesandnoble.com or amazon.com.

Barnard, a farmer, rancher and professional photographer, is the author of several children’s books, including “Jerry, the Spunky Little Loveable Longhorn Steer Calf.” The author is currently based in Malta, Montana.
