One Nation, Under God

Whitewater News for August 31, 2016

Sympathy to the family of Frank Allery. He was raised in Whitewater and graduated from Whitewater High School.

“Get well” to both Mikey and Ike Hellie.

“Happy birthday” to the two Simonsons and also to Annie Jefferson of Malta (I missed these birthdays last week.) Annie J. attends Whitewater Lutheran Church almost each week.

Pastor Haney – of Malta’s Grace Fellowship Church – rode his motorcycle to Whitewater and stopped at the North 40 last week.

The picnic at Westside in Malta had a great attendance. The food at the picnic was delicious. There was music, games and prizes. It was really a nice time.

Combining is in full swing. I haven’t heard how crops are in Whitewater.

School has begun with a lower attendance. Mr. Perdue has the biggest class and there is a new history teacher.

The air in Whitewater is smoky. It may be coming from Canada, blowing for miles.

Note: “Do not judge your neighbors, unless you walk a mile in their moccasins!”
