Concealed Weapon Permits:

New and renewal applications for Concealed Weapon Permits may be picked up at the Sheriff’s Office anytime. Once approved, you will be contacted to come in on Wednesday between 9 AM and noon for fingerprints and photographs.

November 18, 2020

1:37 p.m. Male requested law enforcement assistance at his residence; Deputy responded to the call; caller advised the situation was a civil matter and they needed to contact the Justice of the Peace.

4:12 p.m. Male reported another male driving the caller’s vehicle, under the influence, and was making threats to the call; Deputy responded to the call; individual located and was not intoxicated.

6:16 p.m. Female wanted it reported of harassment through text messages, social media and phone calls; caller just wanted it reported.

8:10 p.m. Female reported she had been assaulted with a cue stick holder by another female in the downtown area; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

November 19, 2020

3:21 a.m. 911 received requesting an ambulance at a local business for a male who collapsed; Deputy and local EMT Crew responded to the call; coroner case file started.

6:45 a.m. Several calls received reporting a vehicle/deer accident near the PC Museum and the deer was still alive; Deputy responded to the call and humanely euthanized the deer; case file started.

9:23 a.m. 911 received reporting an accident on Hwy 191 south of Malta; Deputy responded to the call; Hwy 191 south closed temporarily so the semi-truck and trailer could be removed from the location; case file started.

9:29 a.m. Female reported a dead animal in the alley behind her residence; ACO handled the call.

12:37 p.m. Females requested law enforcement assistance for a male “watching” the caller and other family members near Landusky; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

7:10 p.m. Male reported an injured deer on Hwy 2, west of Malta; Deputy responded to the call; deer located, was deceased and removed off of the Hwy.

9:19 p.m. Male reported a dog that jumped in his vehicle and would not get out; Deputy and ACO responded to the call; owner later located and dog returned.

9:49 p.m. Female requested law enforcement assistance with a situation involving juveniles and a social media account; Deputy handled the call.

November 20, 2020

1:03 p.m. Male reported a vehicle speeding in excess of the speed limit, headed eastbound, toward Malta on Hwy 2; Deputy and local MHP Trooper responded to the call; vehicle located and driver issued citations.

3:05 p.m. Male requested PCSO assistance with a parenting plan; Deputy handled the call.

3:17 p.m. 911 received requesting law enforcement assistance for a male who “was trespassing” in the caller’s residence in Dodson; Deputies responded to the call; female later advised the male could stay at the residence.

5:48 p.m. 911 received requesting a male be removed from the caller’s residence in Dodson; Deputy responded to the call and gave the male a ride to his residence.

9:35 p.m. 911 received reporting a male had “pulled a gun” on several patrons of a Zortman business; Sheriff, Deputy, local MHP Troopers and Ft Belknap LE responded to the call; male not located.

10:49 p.m. Sheriff performed building security checks in the Zortman, Landusky and campground areas.

November 21, 2020

11:13 a.m. Zortman business requested law enforcement assistance with a male acting strange; Deputies, local Fish & Game Warden, and BLM Ranger responded to the call; case file started.

11:57 a.m. 911 received reporting theft of property from a campsite in Camp Creek; Deputy responded to the call; case file started; property later located and returned to the owner.

2:36 p.m. Deputy transported one adult male, Shade Stiles, to PCSO to be incarcerated in PCSO Jail on Probation Violation charges.

7:09 p.m. Female reported receiving threats from a male; Deputy responded to the call; male found to have had a verbal disagreement with the female caller but did not make any threats to her.

7:11 p.m. Male reported a vehicle parked “very dangerously” in the downtown area; Deputy responded to the call; owner located and moved the vehicle to another parking place.

8:19 p.m. 911 received requesting a message be delivered to a family member; family member located and message delivered.

8:55 p.m. Female requested an ambulance for a female with Covid-19 symptoms; local EMT Crew responded to the call; patient transported to the PC Hospital.

November 22, 2020

2:03 p.m. Male reported a missing duffle bag with hunting clothes inside; possibly lost in the south Malta area.

3:37 p.m. Male reported a stolen firearm; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

10:29 p.m. Female reported a family member had passed away at a local residence; Deputy responded to the call; coroner case file started.

November 23, 2020

9:57 a.m. Female requested an ambulance for a female with Covid-19 symptoms; local EMT Crew responded to the call; patient transported to the PC Hospital.

10:20 a.m. Female reported an injured deer near her residence; information passed onto local Fish & Game Warden.

12:26 p.m. PC Hospital requested an ambulance for a flight crew pick up from the airport, transport to the hospital and back to the airport with their patient; local EMT Crew handled the call.
