One Nation, Under God

Dodson News for May 27, 2015

Polly Solberg and Dora Henry were in Billings this week for medical help. While there Polly stayed with son Tim and Heidi and family and was able to watch granddaughter Amanda in her last soccer game. She also visited Angie and Chris Allard, Seth and Cody and Margaret Witham. Dora stayed with son Steve and Judy and was also able to visit with daughter Cheryl Henry.

Polly went to the graduation of Blake Mattfeldt in Glasgow on Sunday. Willard Mortenson also attended his grandson's graduation.

Mary McLees and her mother Virginia Solberg stopped briefly in Dodson to greet people on her way back to Billings after a short visit with her mother.

Dora Henry and Barb Trembley put up 115 crosses at the cemetery, honoring the deceased veterans from this community.

Postmaster Carol Smith had a sad surprise, when arriving to work she found that malicious mischief had been done when someone with a sick mind had pulled all the flowers that were in two pots placed in front of the Post Office and strewn them and pots all across the parking lot and from the smell had also sprayed them with some chemical. We are so sorry that there is someone in the community who want to destroy and not help boost up the town a little. Patti Wilke brought some new flowers and pots in and the old ones have been replaced. Most people are trying to spruce up the Town and their property for the coming school reunion, the 100th anniversary of the Phillips County Fair and the 110th anniversary of the first part of the three parts of Dodson being formed and registering as a Town, that are coming this summer.

Thanks to the kind person who weed whipped my fence line while I was gone—I appreciate it very much.

Birthday greetings are sent to John Wilke, Larry Solberg and George Anderson.

Have a heart that never hardens, a temper that never tires, a touch that never hurts.
