The Malta M-ettes had a great showing at the 2015 State B Track Meet in Kalispell, taking fourth as a team. Sophomore Sophia Stiles led the effort, not only retaining her triple jump crown, but taking first place in the long jump as well. The Whitewater Penguins competed in their last event as the Penguins at the 2015 State C Track meet in Laurel last Friday and Saturday. The team was led by Junior Tatum Moore, who took fifth place in the 100 meter hurdles after recording a time of 16.64 in the final round and 17.17 in prelims. The 2015 National Business Professionals of America Leadership Conference was held the first week of May in Anaheim, California. Montana's delegation represented 54 secondary chapters including Saco High School and two post-secondary chapters with a total Montana Association representation of 377 registered members, advisors, and guests. Polly Solberg and Dora Henry were in Billings this week for medical help. While there Polly stayed with son Tim and Heidi and family and was able to watch granddaughter Amanda in her last soccer game. She also visited Angie and Chris Allard, Seth and Cody and Margaret Witham. Dora stayed with son Steve and Judy and was also able to visit with daughter Cheryl Henry. The Malta Mustangs faced tough competition at the 2015 State B Track Meet in Kalispell last Friday and Saturday, tying for twenty-fifth place. The long relay team was the recipient of the team’s lone point scored at the meet, taking sixth place with a time of 3:33.12.
