  • Loring News for Wednesday, September 29, 2021

    Dixie Stordahl, PCN Correspondent|Sep 29, 2021

16 Oh wow! The wind really kicked up on Saturday and actually ripped up a few shingles on my roof! So rude! But on the positive side, none of my trees broke off and smashed into my vehicle! Got to count blessings of all sorts! I have been working at the Great Plains Dinosaur Museum quite a lot this last month. I love to visit with the people who come in and answer any questions they might have! This week I was happily surprised to see Jeremy Pearson and his family stop in. He was a student...

  • Dodson News for Wednesday, September 29, 2021

    Eldora Henry, PCN Correspondent|Sep 29, 2021

We are still enjoying good fall weather in the daytime even if it gets a little cool some nights. Everyone seems to be cleaning up and gathering things to put away for winter. They have all the floor and the apron torn out of the new bus building to replace it. Lots of work and lots of cement to dispose of. Polly Solberg has been busy visiting and caring for business before it gets colder. Terri Cole is still away visiting many grandkids and other family and enjoying shopping. I finally got all...

  • A lot of people feed on fear

    Parker Heinlein, Outdoors Columnist|Sep 29, 2021

We hear all too often that if something is allowed to proceed, it will forever change life as we know it. It’s rarely true, but a lot of folks feed on fear and nonsense. Take the United Property Owners of Montana for instance. An organization supposedly put together to protect property rights, UPOM is on the fight with the American Prairie Reserve over that group’s plans to raise bison and change a few BLM grazing allotments. UPOM apparently has no other concerns at the moment but to put an end...

  • Creeping Communism

    Sep 29, 2021

Dear Editor, There are some in our government who care nothing for our Constitution or our country. In fact, they want to do away with our Constitution and make this into a socialist, communist country. How many of you remember Sept. 29, 1959? That was the day Khrushchev of the Soviet Union spoke to President Kennedy at the United Nations, giving his prediction of where America would be today. Khrushchev said: "Your children's children will live under communism. You Americans are so gullible. No, you won't accept communism outright, but we...
