    The 6-1 Malta Mustangs will face one last regular season test as they have locked up a spot in the 2015 State B Tournament bracket. The team will travel to Glasgow this Friday to take on the 3-5 Glasgow Scotties, who are also undefeated against 2B teams. The winner of the game will win the district and have a favorable placing in the State B tournament bracket.     The Malta M-ette Cross-Country Team traveled west to Harlem for their final race of the regular season. It was a perfect day for racing with clear blue skies, temperatures that were a bit chilly and slightly breezy requiring a jacket if you were not a participant in the race.     The Phillips County 4-H Shooting Sports will begin their postal shoot on November 22 and 23. Youth ages 9 as of October 1, 2015 through age 18 are eligible to participate in air rifle and archery. Youth need to be 12 years old in order to participate in air pistol. There will be a safety night for first time shooters on November 15th at 2 pm at Stretch’s and also at 4 pm in Saco at the Saco bus barn.     Big Flat Electric Cooperative hosted its Annual Member's Meeting last Saturday, October 10 at Malta High School. The meal was catered by Ray J's BBQ and featured Pulled Barbecue Beef, mashed potatoes, gravy, dinner rolls, corn, brownies A La Mode and plenty of door prizes.     MALTA-Dolores Mae (Knutson) Campbell, 87 of Malta, died of natural causes Friday, October 23rd. A memorial celebration of her life will be at 11 am Tuesday, October 27th at Malta Lutheran Church.
