  • A Tangled Mess!

    Kari Hould, PCN Staff|Dec 20, 2023

It stood there, in the clear. Not a soul was near, it showed no fear. As it wiggled its ear, the face made a sneer. He was of good cheer, as though he'd had a beer, but it was clear as he made a jeer, he'd avoid any spear that came near. He sauntered along in low gear, his head swiveling as if it was...

    Kari Hould, PCN Staff|Dec 13, 2023

If one didn't know better, one might be led to believe that elfin' magic happened in the middle of the night at the Court House. Standing graciously on the ground floor of the Court House is the seasonal display put together and arranged by the fairies and pixies (aka the employees). The theme this year was based around gingerbread houses and the display is one you should make an effort to come see while it is up. Spearheaded by Jodee Lee (in her spare time), the elegant tree is surrounded by...

    Kari Hould, Karis Quiet Corner|Nov 29, 2023

Ah, a deep breath and a breather…with the blessings of a calm and uneventful (at least at our house) Thanksgiving Day behind us, we take a moment to look back on the blessings from our bank of memories. What a year it has been in my world…eight months and several days ago, when I attempted a swan dive off my steps, my pace slowed down (somewhat). I am thankful my right foot and lower leg are still attached. I do not think I would’ve made a very good recipient of a prosthesis; surely the good Lord knew not to even test me. I am thankful for t...
