    A wonderfully entertaining night was had by over 100 individuals at Montana Shakespeare in the Parks performance of A Midsummer Night's Dream. On Wednesday, June 30, with the temperature hovering around the 100-degree mark, a decision was made to move the performance inside to the Malta High School auditorium.     Lola Mae Matthews, 76, died Friday, June 25, 2021, at her home in Hi-Line Retirement Center, Malta, Montana. She was born March 31, 1945, to Clifford and Pearl Rustad in Royal Oak, Michigan. Lola moved to Montana with her parents, eventually settling in Malta. Her father Clifford died in 1946 when Lola was nine months old. Lola attended schools in Malta, graduating in the class of 1963. Ross and June (Caton) Robinson on August 8, 1954, in La Junta, Colorado, while Ross was serving in the U.S. Air Force. At age 2, the family returned to the Rocking R Ranch in Saco, where he enjoyed his childhood living on Beaver Creek. Brother Mike joined the family when Craig was 8 years of age.     On July 1st, 2021, the greatest man and cowboy we ever knew rode off into the sunset. Elwyn "Wink" Gordon Cole was born August 26, 1934, to Jack and Melinda Murray in Devils Lake, North Dakota. At the age of four, he tragically lost his mother. He lived with various aunts for the next few years and due to the depression, he was then placed in an orphanage where he lived for two years. The fire closed traffic in both directions for approximately an hour. One incident truck and a tanker, along with six firefighters responded in addition to a Sheriff’s deputy and a Montana Highway Patrol trooper.     Blister beetles have been confirmed in Phillips County. The beetles have many colors, but the same shape. They can be found with stripes, black and gray (see photo). The beetles get their name by exuding a toxic substance called cantharidin. It causes irritations to your hands if you crush one.     The Milk River Bambino Baseball League season ended last Wednesday, June 30, at Trafton Park. This year's league featured 100 tee-ball and baseball players from age four to 13.
