Steve Bullock bill did not allocate enough to rural infrastructure while putting money toward renovating buildings like MSU...

  • Loring News for January 30, 2018

    Dixie Stordahl, PCN Correspondent|Jan 30, 2019

Strange weather for January! Rain for a good part of the day with temps in the 40's. Then the wind started blowing and goodness sakes! If it wasn't tied down, look for it in Whitewater or North Dakota! I stopped to visit with Mary Brown Peigneux on Thursday. It's always interesting to visit with friends who I don't see very often. The people who work at the courthouse really have my admiration for the things they do! Thursday I went to the dental hygienist, museum, and then met with the JRF...

  • If it were based on Science

    Parker Heinlein, Outdoors columnist|Jan 30, 2019

Among the many bills to be considered during this legislative session is one that would require decisions related to fish and game be based solely on facts and science. HB 161, sponsored by Brad Tschida (R), Missoula, would not allow the Department of Fish, Wildlife and Parks or the FWP Commission to “use social science, human dimensions, people’s attitudes, opinions or preferences during the decision-making process related to fish and wildlife.” That would be different, using science and facts...

    Pierre Bibbs, Sports Editor|Jan 30, 2019

I was after that coffee house experience. The type of experience you would get from a Star-bucks or a Caribou or various coffee shops in the area. Places like...
