    Polly Solberg went to visit her son Nathan and his family for the weekend. Kari Hould was operated on in Billings for pressure on the brain after suffering a stroke and was reported slowly improving into rehab. Get well wishes and prayers are continued for her recovery. Sharon Munsinger passed away in Texas on Saturday after a battle with cancer. Condolences are sent to her family and friends Terri Cole's daughter Colleen and family came to be with Terri on Saturday. Terri will be in Billings...

    It has been staying very hot with no rain. Some rain has been forecast but has not showed up except for one small shower we had earlier. The 106th fair has come and gone.     Hot temperatures continue to hang in every day----no rain----the nights actually get quite cool. One wonders how it can be so hot during the day and so cool a few hours later in the night.     The weather has remained very unstable, and hot with some cool nights. We continue to have strong winds and one night had strong winds with a little rain, but since have not seen any of the rain that has been forecast. We have again had days all in the nineties and a few over the 100 mark. Saturday saw 100 and Sunday made it to 102.     It finally rained on the evening of Tuesday, July 13; Just an easy fine rain. It was very hot Wednesday, July 14, 93 degrees. Cooled down Wednesday night, Thursday 103 degrees, Friday 102 degrees with no more rain. Saturday it was 93 degrees and Sunday, an even 100, Dry with no more rain.     It has been hot again, mine said 100 degrees on Sunday and then the wind came up and cooled it off some but about blew us into the next county again.     Bill and Dora Henry attended the funeral for Mrs. Aggie (Bill) Leys at Choteau on Wednesday of this week. It was terribly hot but she had a lovely funeral. On Thursday they attended a farewell BBQ for the pastor of Bill's church who is leaving in two weeks. It was sad to hear that long-time resident and well-known family man, "Wink" Cole had passed away with family by his side.     We have had some beautiful days and warm days this week. Sunday afternoon showed a hot, 82 degrees, on my thermometer at a little afternoon. And very little wind. Dora's daughter Teri Leys, of Choteau, Teri's grandson Roper James and Asher and Aurora, in Teri's care, visited at the Henry home for the Memorial Day weekend.     Wink and Terri Cole's daughter, Melinda, of Helena was home for a weekend visit with her parents. Lenora Ramberg of Great Falls passed away on Easter morning. Her funeral was Saturday April 10 in Great Falls. Lenora was one of 10 children of Mr. & Mrs. Selmer Ramberg who lived in the Loring area and then in Dodson for many years.
