The weatherman is predicting it to be warmer all week long, so hope he is right. With the warmer days and the wind every day we finally are out of snow---things are a little brown yet, but soon a little green should be showing. Steve and Judy Henry came up from Billings on Thursday and brought me a newer computer as I seem to have picked up a virus or hacker on my old one. On Friday Schwartz Plumbing and Heating brought and installed a new furnace. I'm just happy the weather was warmer--it...

It was sort of bad weather for the tournaments but they carried on well. Terri Cole and Bonnie Lankford went to Helena in the storm on Friday. Velyma Broadhead has been away for a few days this week. It is surprising how a couple days of sunshine and the horrible wind can change the landscape so fast. The ground that was white is now brown again and there is not even hardly any water standing around any more. My son at Laurel said they had 7 inches again so were having to shovel everything off. Sunday we were hit by another horrendous wind--it even roared a little. Most of the basketball is over so cross country kids will soon be seen out running. At least it is beginning to warm up for...

Sunday was a day right out of spring, the wind blowing of course, but warm and water all over. Too early for the frost to be out so it was just standing. The school did get going again, but the town is still pretty quiet. Little excitement coming up, but so is spring. Polly Solberg is still visiting in Billings. Terri Cole rode to Glasgow with Steve and Tara so they could pick up their new pickup. They enjoyed supper out while there, nice to get away for a while. Continued get well wishes to...

Well, we have had pretty good weather this week as opposed to what we were having. It has actually been pretty nice most days. This week has all been pretty warm for us. It has melted a lot of the snow (and) because of the freezing at night has made some vicious ice, but everyday it melts enough to put some water on top but it is all helping the snow to disappear. The hills and yards are mostly brown now and we can see some of the streets again. Supposed to be a little snow this weekend again, but hopefully, the sun will take care of it again. Sadly, our school has been closed again due to so many testing positive for C...

At least the weather has given us a little reprieve and we are having some fairly pleasant days and some of the snow is disappearing. So many things have happened this week---we send condolences to the entire Plouffe and Henry and related family and especially to Wilma (Henry) Plouffe and immediate family in the passing of Garry Plouffe. May God be with you all at this time. The worst part of a funeral is that you see and talk with relatives and friends that you have not seen for sometimes long...

Seems funny that weather takes the head place in conversations but this year has given us lots to talk about. It is still very cold, as I write this it is minus 5 but the weatherman has told us we are warming up this week starting tomorrow. Wednesday and Thursday are supposed to be our warmest. I certainly hope he is right. Well, our Bobcats lost, but they did make it to the championship, so we are proud of them. For Wednesday, December 15, 2021. This last week has been cold and nasty and given us an unpleasant look at winter weather. Saturday did warm up to 41 degrees for a couple hours before starting down again. The weatherman predicted cold all week. Sunday got up in the 40's again. I attended a COA meeting in Malta on Wednesday & when I got home---no furnace----it wouldn't turn on and there was an odd odor in my house. Thank God for electric heaters, without a furnace in Montana in December is not...

Thanksgiving is over again for another year and I hope everyone had a wonderful day with family and friends. It is a good time for visiting and enjoying fellowship and lots of good food. A terrible wind seemed to cover all of Montana on Wednesday and Thursday. We had winds here both days and they were really hard. No moisture came with them though. Terri Cole is spending Thanksgiving with her daughter Kathy and family. She is enjoying traveling more and visiting kids. Dora Henry and her daughter Linda were in Malta a couple different days...

Fall is sure moving up fast----the leaves are falling like snowflakes ---have hauled two loads to the dumps already. It is fun to watch the trees---some shed their leaves so fast while others lose a few and then sit before sending any more down. The temps are getting a little cooler every night too. Bill Henry stopped at his mom's on Friday, moving home from jobs over East. Terri Cole returned home after medical treatment in Billings and visits with some of the kids. We are still enjoying good fall weather in the daytime even if it gets a little cool some nights. Everyone seems to be cleaning up and gathering things to put away for winter.
